Telecommunications Engineering Technician assists telecommunication engineers in the design and analysis of telecommunication networks. Creates plans and drawings detailing the layout of routers, circuits, cables, switches, or other telecommunications equipment. Being a Telecommunications Engineering Technician ensures network connectivity for end-users. May evaluate existing networks and recommend design changes to improve performance. Additionally, Telecommunications Engineering Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Telecommunications Engineering Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. **Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with soil densities, asphalt densities, concrete testing, lab testing, documentation, math skills, and basic computer knowledge. Mechanical knowledge and the ability to assemble various components are essential for this role.
**Responsibilities:**
- Soil density testing
- Asphalt density testing
- Concrete testing
- Collect and analyze data to support engineering projects
- Apply mathematical calculations to engineering tasks
- Knowledge of construction site etiquette
**Experience:**
- Preferred but not required: ACI Certification
- Knowledge of soils
- Knowledge of geotechnical lab work
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting engineering plans
- Knowledge of nuclear density gauge
- Proficient in mathematical calculations related to engineering tasks
