As the Telecommunications Assistant Manager, reports to the Manager under varying degrees of direction, with varying degrees of latitude for independent action and decision, is responsible for the efficient operation of a voice and/applications call center telecommunications systems.
Manage projects, maintain solid vendor relations and track overall telecommunications and operational effectiveness.
Oversee Call Center Operations in absence of Call Center AM
Assists Manager keeping call center and technical objectives on track.
Ensures Telecommunications and Call Center systems and staffs are working optimally meeting service targets.
Reviews new technology and applications for possible use in improving operations and reducing costs.
Oversees all quality initiatives to ensure all staff are performing to par.
Develops standards, procedures, and policies to ensure the continuing operational effectiveness.
Assist manager with budgets and new business development.
Requirements
MUST HAVE PEOPLE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE (5 years)
Four Year Degree
5 Years of Avaya or similar ACD systems
Project management experience
Call Center Operations background required.
5years of managing people with hire/fire authority
experience managing exempt staff
Ability to work a flexible work schedule and present to various levels of the organization.
