Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Low Voltage Estimator located in Ashburn, VA. The Low Voltage Estimator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with estimating low voltage systems, including conducting site surveys, analyzing blueprints and specifications, and preparing cost estimates for Data Center projects. They will also collaborate with project managers and sales teams to provide accurate and timely estimates.
Job Responsibilities
· Technical advisor for our sales team and clients
· Conduct site surveys
· Conduct client needs analyses
· Generate detailed and accurate Bill of Materials (PNL)
· Generate detailed and accurate labor estimates (PNL)
· Generate detailed statements of work (SOW) for Data Center RFP’s
· Generate accurate project assumptions, terms & conditions, and exclusions for RFP’s
· Review all RFP documentation pertaining to our division and generate RFI’s as needed
· Design functional Data Center solutions based on our core product offerings and core technical abilities
· Provide technical support for account executives and attend scope reviews
· Attend pre-bid meetings
· Conduct project kickoff meetings to transfer project information to the operations team
