Test Pilot Manager oversees pilots who test model aircraft to ensure compliance with federal regulations and product specifications. Determines if model is suitable for flying and testing. Being a Test Pilot Manager organizes scheduling for testing and for demonstrations for government officials or customers. Recommends changes to cockpit or aircraft to better meet the pilot's needs or to improve flight. Additionally, Test Pilot Manager assists engineering team in developing tests and maneuvers for test pilots. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to the head of a unit/department. Duties/Responsibilities
· Supervise and lead subordinates (receiving/shipping clerks, order pickers, etc.)
· Resolve issues regarding shipped orders
· Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies
· Collaborate with warehouse, inventory, purchasing and other managers to optimize processes
· Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment
· Manage all documents associate with shipments (packing slip, bill of lading, international paperwork)
· Pulling tickets to ship products
· Prepare orders for shipment by labeling, packaging, and addressing
· Packaging shipments and creating labels
· Scheduling truck shipments
· Verifying and checking all small packages before shipped
· Arranging 3rd party freight
· Operate industrial fork truck
· Operate an order picker

· Job is 50% physical effort and 50% computer/desk duties
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
