    What are we looking for?

    Kinective is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst with expertise in forecasting future revenues and expenditures as a part of regular financial planning cycles (including annual planning and monthly forecasts). The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in budgeting/forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling along with some experience in data analytics (data extraction/manipulation/& presentation).


    Responsibilities:

    • Lead Analyst on the revenue model and revenue forecasting for a multi-product company
    • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
    • Analyze data and create models for decision support
    • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
    • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
    • Strategic Decision Support: Collaborate with stakeholders to provide different financial analyses and insights to decision-makers to improve business outcomes
    • Conducting ad-hoc analysis for strategic and operational initiatives
    • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
    • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
    • Update regular monthly and quarterly financial packages
    • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel/Power BI dashboards


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • 3 to 5 years of business finance or other relevant experience
    • Strong business acumen
    • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel (v-lookups/sum-ifs/pivot tables) and other data mining or analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI
    • High proficiency in financial modeling techniques
    • BA, BS required (Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
    • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
    • Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • The ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to meet various deadlines simultaneously is required
    • The ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential
    • Customer service skills, including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude are essential
    • Organizational and problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential


    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 3 to 5 years at a technology company, preferred (SaaS experience a plus)
    • Experience with private equity, M&A, or investor backed companies
    • Experience with Sage Intacct, Salesforce, Power BI, & Adaptive planning
    • Strong 3 statement financial modeling experience
    • Experience supporting sales teams
    • Proven work experience in a quantitatively heavy role
    • Experience with debt reporting
