Top Corporate Security Executive develops the overall security strategy, policies, and standards to ensure the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the organization's facilities and the security of property and assets. Establishes auditing and inspection protocols to assess, identify, and mitigate any security vulnerabilities or gaps. Being a Top Corporate Security Executive plans and prepares for crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events. Assesses systems, alarms, and other physical security measures for effectiveness. Additionally, Top Corporate Security Executive designs and delivers company education programs on security policies and topics to ensure staff is adequately informed and equipped to manage potential security issues. Participates in local, state, provincial, or federal working or advisory groups to keep abreast with all security-related information, directives, and events. Leads and directs major investigations and critical event responses in coordination with law enforcement and other officials or agencies. Possess broad and deep knowledge of law enforcement methods, tactics, and procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, security, or related discipline. Typically reports to top management. The Top Corporate Security Executive manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments.     Type: Full-time

    Shift: Monday – Friday 8am-4pm (40 hours/week)

    Compensation: $80,000 / yearly

    About the Job:
    • Excellent customer service is always top priority.
    • You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
    • You provide rapid response in critical situations.
    • You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
    • You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
    • Adequate daily management to oversee administration of the contract.
    • Monitor compliance as per the requirements of the contract.
    • Coordinate communications with Customer contacts.
    • Identifies and utilizes networking opportunities with client and implements security industry best practices.
    • Implements key performance measures, tracking tools, scorecards, and reporting methods in cooperation with regional, branch, site and client managers to enhance security team effectiveness and performance.
    • Work with Customer to resolve any problems between the company’s personnel and Customer ’s personnel, conduct ongoing evaluation of Vendor’s performance, and recommend to Customer 's designated contacts revisions to Customer security procedures.
    • Shall perform a formal evaluation of all Vendor Workers performing security force services each year as well as an informal evaluation annually. The Vendor shall provide Customer with a copy of Vendor's evaluation form for Customer approval review and comment. The Vendor may, at Vendor's discretion, perform additional evaluations or performance measurements as appropriate.
    • Initiates, coordinates, and assumes responsibility for benchmarking and the identification of cost saving practices.
    • Serves as a key point of contact to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service for assigned site; evaluates service quality and initiates any necessary communication and/or corrective action in a timely manner.
    • Maintains a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; ensures that staff members understand and comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • Within scope of contract and assigned duties, reviews appropriate expenditures including equipment, supplies, and ensure invoices are correct, delivered and paid in a timely manner.
    • Ensures appropriate staffing levels, in collaboration with regional management as necessary; ensures scheduling is handled effectively to meet client requirements while controlling labor costs.
    • Provides input to company initiatives; promptly assists in the resolution of legal, financial, human resources, and administrative issues.
    • Builds and facilitates teamwork and partnerships and the implementation of progressive change.
    • Performs additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as necessary to achieve assigned business objectives.
    • Assists client in evaluation of physical security needs and determines feasibility of delivery of requested or desired services; demonstrates understanding of and ability to operate in global business environment.

    About the Qualifications:
    • You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
    • You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States
    • If you have Security, Military, Corrections, or Law Enforcement experience – even better!
    • Must have a state security license or ability to obtain one
    • Must be at least 21 years of age for security posts that operates a company vehicle.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
    • Demonstrate a stable work history
    • Have reliable transportation
    • Able to climb stairs, walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time
    • Must have at least 3 years security supervisor experience
    • Able to accept last-minute assignments due to call-offs or No Call No Shows
    • Must feel comfortable using different levels of technology; willingness to learn proprietary applications as needed
    • Participate in the selection, orientation, training, and continual development of staff assigned to the account.
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with client and employees, and serve as the liaison between GardaWorld, our client, and our assigned staff.
    • Ability to create accurate activity and incident reports as needed
    • Ability to observe, survey, report and respond to critical situations while on any given property
    • Ability to multi-task a must as some job sites are very busy while others are slower paced
    • Ability to meet all physical demands of each site which may include long periods of sitting, standing and walking
    • Provide a single point of contact responsible for the Customer account.
    • Must be available for phone calls and meeting in a timely manner.
    • Must prepare and present quarterly business reviews to Customer relationship contacts and Customer senior level management.
