Responsible for overseeing the overall functions of managing delinquency and minimizing losses at ABD Federal Credit Union. Ensuring state and federal regulations are followed while following company polices and procedures. Develop and implement strategies to achieve company’s collection goals.
Essential Job Functions- Oversee the overall functions of managing delinquency and mitigating financial losses
- Manage relationships with third-party collection resources
- Contact delinquent accounts via phone, email and mail
- Handle vehicle repossessions and coordinate the process with third parties
- Evaluate payment deferment requests and restructure loans based on member repayment capacity
- Represent the credit union at legal proceedings
- Recommend accounts for charge off when appropriate
- Stay informed about technological advancements and industry changes in collections
- Responsible for bookkeeping legal documents and mitigations
