Overview:

We are a busy tree company looking to expand, and are seeking a skilled Tree Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in tree care, tree trimming, and have decent climbing skills.

Can expect 36-42 hours per week

We pay a decent hourly rate, then add climbing "bonuses" to each day that you climb. There are some days you will not climb and will simply receive your normal, hourly rate. Our current arborist/climber averages about $35 to $50 per hour, per week, using this pay system. If you hold a valid commercial driver's license, base pay will be higher.

We also include 6 paid holidays, and pay you from the time you start until your are finished for the day. We do not dock for any breaks, including lunch; you are paid the whole time through. We also offer a health benefit, as well as provide almost all safety gear. You are required to have steel toe/toe reinforced boots.

Responsibilities:

- Safely climb trees using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Perform tree care tasks such as pruning, trimming, and removal
- Operate bucket trucks for elevated work when necessary
- Utilize rigging techniques for safe lowering of branches
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in tree care, tree trimming, or related field
- Proficiency in using climbing gear and safety equipment
- Ability to operate bucket truck booms for elevated work
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Must have valid and extensive experience as an arborist/climber. We will provide equipment if you do not have your own.

MUST HAVE CURRENT DRIVER LICENSE.

Commercial driver's license a plus !!
