Job Description:
Responsible for performing all functions needed for an onsite mechanic. Responsible for the onsite maintenance of all heavy equipment and general equipment. Reports all repairs, provides root cause and participates in equipment improvement.
Essential Job Functions:
· Maintain heavy construction equipment in a clean and orderly condition and report all deficiencies to supervisor
· Perform inspections to ensure tested and repaired equipment meet performance specifications
· Troubleshoot breakdowns of equipment to determine extent of damage or malfunctions
· Follow given operating instructions to maintain shop equipment operations
· Maintain supplies
· Perform necessary repairs
· Perform regular preventive maintenance
· Complete and file all appropriate reports and paperwork
· Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
· All other duties as assigned
Required Skills:

· Also need to have basic computer skills.
Required Experience:
· Minimum two years of experience as a Mechanic.
· Performed Hydraulic, Engine and Electrical troubleshooting and repairs on diesel and gas heavy equipment.
· Current driver’s license

· Ability to frequently work in heat and other weather conditions
· Frequently crouch, kneel, squat, climb
· Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs
