Job Summary:
As Construction Safety Professionals, we prioritize the implementation of best practices, ensuring compliance with safety requirements, and cultivating a culture of safety enhancement on targeted construction projects.
- Rate of Pay: $110,000/year
- Shift: Day Shift - 5/10s could shift to 6/10's.
- Location: Ann Arbor, MI
- Assignment: Projected 1.5-2 years
Responsibilities:
- Mentor, educate, and train staff on safety protocols
- Foster a positive safety culture within the team
- Attend safety meetings as required, at varying frequencies
- Conduct on-site observations and recommend safety work practices
- Facilitate pre-task planning, audits, job safety analyses (JSAs), and permit processes
- Conduct site-specific orientations, training classes, and toolbox talks
- Generate reports as needed by the job site
Requirements and Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of direct construction safety oversight experience
- Comprehensive understanding of Construction Safety Standards
- Demonstrated expertise in diverse construction and safety practices
- Preferably experienced in ground-up construction safety oversight
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Effective leadership and mentorship abilities
- Proven ability to collaborate with teams across all organizational levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications
Education and Credentials:- Minimum requirement of CHST Certification. ASP or CSP Certification preferred.
