Plan, forecast, and develop deep business insight into revenue streams for the business. Analyze financial, budgeting, or accounting information that affects investments, revenue generation, expenditures, business risks, and realization. Identify strategies to ensure financial health of the business, as well as budget completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations. Design and implement new system, reporting, and process improvements to support the scalability of the business. Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.

Minimum Requirements

-Education: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

-Experience: 24 months of experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

-Specific Skills: Must have 24 months of experience in each of the following: Developing and optimizing business processes and product plans; Preparing annual budgets, expenses, and staffing forecasts; Preparing and consolidating financial data statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis; Statistical Reporting; and Financial Accounting.

-Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.

Pay Range and Benefits Information

The offered base pay range for this specific position (EG1946550b), based in Redmond, WA (but telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.), is $120,000 to $150,000 per year.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.   

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
