WV Bureau for Behavioral Health
Nature of Work
Under general supervision this position will provide specialized administrative support services for the Bureau for Behavioral Health’s fiscal unit. The fiscal unit funds the state’s Behavioral Health System as well as overseas the bureau's office administration. Will monitor and process payment for $60,000,000 in grant allocations and prepare documents for internal audit and act as initial contact person for grantees regarding invoicing. Acts as liaison between various employees and public providers for mental health evaluations and payment of invoices under state procedures and regulations; will contact providers and prepare documents for internal audits for invoicing for grants. Maintain files of information in hard copy and electronic format. Collect and compile information for grants and prepare status reports. Prepare various monthly reports. Represent CFO and Accounting Director at in-house meetings. Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Training: Graduation from a standard four-year high school or the equivalent.
Experience: Four (4) years of full time or equivalent part time paid bookkeeping, accounting, or related experience.
Substitution: Successful completion of college-level accounting courses from an accredited college or university may be substituted at the rate of three semester hours equals six months experience;
OR
Successful completion of related business school or vocational training may be substituted for the experience through an established formula.
