Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) is currently seeking two full-time Logistics Management Specialists to work in the Sentinel Systems Directorate at Hill Air Force Base near Layton, Utah.
These positions (986456, 986457) are NH-0346-03s, with a typical 2024 salary range of $86,962 - $134,435.
These positions are not eligible for remote or full-time telework; situational-based agreements may be available at the discretion of the hiring manager.
The Sentinel program is an ACAT ID major defense acquisition program charged to deliver a full system replacement for the nation’s Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) System, providing a strategic deterrent to nuclear attack against the United States. These positions are integral to the success of the Sentinel weapon system and the continued support of one leg of the nation’s nuclear triad. The Sentinel weapon system, when fielded, will continue the critical national strategic deterrence role currently performed by the legacy Minuteman III (MMIII) Inter-continental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) System.
Logistics Management Specialists in AFNWC solve highly complex problems and take part in a variety of projects to promote national security through nuclear deterrence. Employees will be part of a dynamic product support team and will be expected to operate at a high-performance pace and develop and maintain a radical teaming-centric culture.
The primary purpose of these positions is to serve as Logistics Management Specialists in the Sentinel’s Material Supply Support Branch, Product Support Division.
