Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to chief operating officer (coo) or top management. The Top Manufacturing Executive manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business.     Responsibilities

    • Assist the Regional Controller in managing all financial operations of the firm, including budgeting, forecasting, audit, and internal control systems.
    • Provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
    • Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
    • Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
    • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek a full range of business solutions.
    • Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
    • Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation and reporting to the Company.
    • Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
    • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. A Master’s degree or CPA would be a plus.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering industry.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
    • Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
    • Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to present complex financial information in an easy-to-understand format.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
    • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
