Responsibilities • The goal of this position will be to increase company book of business by writing winning proposals and compelling content to support marketing initiatives • The position accomplishes this by supporting the entire proposal process; gathering and formatting information; writing drafts; and obtaining approvals • This position will be part of the marketing/business development team identifying and securing projects for the company • Author unique and specific content to be included in proposals the company is submitting to general contractors and clients to secure work • Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering in close collaboration with the marketing manager, marketing coordinator, graphic designer, and project team champions • Author and edit persuasive business development content including internal and external communications, publicity, media relations, websites, blogs, social media posts, and other company messaging • Conduct interviews and collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts including executives, project managers, engineers, building information modelers, schedulers, and field supervisors to incorporate their expertise in proposal content authoring • Produce clear, concise, high quality content that is appropriate for its intended audience • Proofread, edit, and maintain corporate standards for documentation companywide • Advocate for brand and core value standardization across all communications • Mentor operations personnel on writing and grammar styles using Associated Press Stylebook standards
