Salt Lake Behavioral Health is seeking a talented Institutional Cook for our Dietary Department.
The Institutional Cook is responsible for the preparation and service of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals for patients and facility staff according to the approved menu cycle and production sheets.
We are a private, freestanding, 118- bed, acute psychiatric hospital; specializing in mental health and chemical dependency.
We provide a wide range of services and programs that offer evidence-based treatment proven to have positive outcomes for our patients.
Our inpatient and day hospital, or outpatient services offer supportive and compassionate care for adults and adolescents through specialty programs that are tailored to meet the needs of our patients.

Qualifications
Education / Experience : Five (5) years’ experience in institutional cooking required. (, nursing home, assisted living center, school, cafeteria, or jail / prison).
A knowledge of modified diets; training in food service sanitation; experience utilizing industrial kitchen equipment and utensils;
and some prior hospital kitchen experience helpful.
Certification : Must have a Utah Food Handlers Permit.
