Training Assistant is responsible for clerical and administrative duties related to the delivery of training and organizational development programs. Schedules training events, coordinates with instructors, obtains and distributes required instructional materials, and communicates schedules and details. Being a Training Assistant processes enrollments and answers routine inquiries regarding courses, schedules, and locations. Uses an information system or database to enter data and produce reports on training statistics, inventory levels or assessments of the programs and instructors. Additionally, Training Assistant coordinates additional services including technical equipment, meals and refreshments, housekeeping, maintenance or repairs. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Training Assistant possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Rascal Training is hiring a weekend morning dog walker. This is an entry level part time position, perfect for someone in school or someone who would like to get their foot in the door with training. You should apply if you like being outside, are excited about walking 5-10 miles a day in any weather, are willing to clean up after dogs, you like to work hard, and of course, love dogs! You must be able and willing to be standing and walking for your entire shift, be open to balance training tools and methodologies, and have reliable transportation.
Previous dog handling experience is not necessary but being honorable, trustworthy, kind, hardworking, reliable and teachable are. Growth with the company is available to the right candidate.
This job is for Friday through Monday, beginning at 7am. Length of shifts can vary depending on time of year. We are based in Woodland, WA about 30 minutes outside of Portland.
