Ultrasound Technologist jobs in Montana
Ultrasound Technologist operates ultrasonic equipment to produce images of the body's organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. Performs sonographic examinations to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data. Being an Ultrasound Technologist records test results, inspects and maintains equipment, and orders supplies when needed. May require an associate degree in a related area. Additionally, Ultrasound Technologist typically requires completion of an accredited program in Medical Sonography. May require registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and/or certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). May require a state license to practice. Typically reports to a chief technologist or manager. The Ultrasound Technologist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. To be an Ultrasound Technologist typically requires 2 -4 years of related experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

St. Luke Community Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated full time Ultrasound Technician to become a member of our dynamic Imaging team. On call hours are an obligation.
The Ultrasound Tech will be responsible for carrying out diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician, explaining procedures to the patients, keeping record of a patient’s medical history and determining whether the images are good enough for diagnosis.
The candidate must be RDMS certified and have strong interpersonal skills while interacting with patients from varying backgrounds. ECHO experience is a plus. One year of experience is preferred. We are a stable, and an employee-oriented health care organization offering competitive wages, a generous benefits package, and a great work environment.

Shift: 4 days per week, Wednesday – Saturday
Starting Wage: $35 an hour (dependent on level of certification)
