PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Fabrication Tech to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Phoenix, AZ.
This is an initial 6- month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.
Job Description :
The Seat Cushion Fabricator I, will be responsible for putting production-related cushion material together including foams and fabrics from simple to complex assemblies.
Tools will be common hand tools to power tools and some larger fixtures and material handling equipment. Candidate must be able to follow simple instructions from work travelers and illustrations and blueprint drawings.
The work fast paced in a moderate to fast-paced environment, is repetitive, is detailed requires critical adherence to established quality levels while completing within the time frame and workspace allowed for the assigned task.
Be able to cross train and perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements :
High school diploma or GED
US Citizenship
Must be attentive to details and be able to stand for a 10 hour shift that has 2 breaks and a half-hour lunch in the middle of that time frame.
Must adhere to all company Safety Policies and Procedures.
Prior experience with bonding cushion materials such as foams and fabrics is a plus.
Experience with textile, foam, and fabric materials and bonding them together.
