Usher/Ticket Taker collects admission tickets and passes from patrons at entertainment events. May require a high school diploma and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Usher/Ticket Taker has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Additionally, Usher/Ticket Taker works under immediate supervision. Customer comes in → Greets customer → provide menu information and explain system → —> takes order and payment → gets customer seated
-Host creates a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our customers
- Greeting, Informing guest of our system upon entry and seating guests arrangements
- Providing menu information, and ensuring menu is up to date
- Taking orders/ to-go orders and being knowledgeable of our menu and allergies
- Upselling - Handling card transactions and operating the POS system (TOAST) & Assisting with any customer inquiries or issues
- Controlling customer flow at the front door
- Complete and close out all payments for call in orders
- Communicating any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen
- Providing great customer service, and table touching
- Handling third party platforms pickups (ubereats, grub hub, door dash, etc)
All roles are responsible for taking care of all front of house operations from opening, closing, shift changing, deep cleaning, and ensuring great customer experience for our guests
