Position Title: Utilization Review Counselor

Location: Gainesville, FL

Salary: $17.85/hr| Non-Exempt

• Complete utilization reviews in a timely fashion to ensure payment for services provided.
• Maintain and keep up to date the financial records and spreadsheets.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate valuable information pertaining to utilization and authorization status.
• The persons served rate their interactions as respectful, responsive, and person-centered.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Learn and maintain proficiency in Meridian's Electronic Health Record.
• Ensures that payer information about persons on his/her unit is current and accurate.

Who are we looking for?

• High School graduate, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• UR/UM experience with Third Party and Managed Medicaid payors.
