The Video Editor mixes and masters audio. Edits video footage to desired length and format, creates motion graphics, and completes color corrections. Being a Video Editor archives and stores all files, footage, graphics, and audio. Encodes final videos to desired size and format. In addition, Video Editor proficient using Adobe Creative suite and production software including After Effects and Final Cut and other editing software. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Video Editor gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. The AF Civil Engineer (AF/A4C) aims to effectively optimize resource allocation and Civil Engineering (CE) programs while modernizing and recapitalizing installation infrastructure, protecting installation from mission degradation, and executing sustainment programs. The ideal candidate will use his/her video experience and creative skills to produce short-format video content for the Air Force Civil Engineer portfolio. He/she will be responsible for the assembly and delivery of videos that maximize messaging impact.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Video Editor: $70,000 - $75,000
Pay commensurate with experience.
