Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video content creation and possess expertise in various editing software.

Duties:

- Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting
- Utilize software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Bridge to manipulate and edit film pieces
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the final product
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand the project scope and objectives
- Incorporate 2D animation, graphic design elements, and post-production effects into videos
- Maintain an organized library of footage, graphics, and audio files

Qualifications:

- Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Capture One
- Strong understanding of cinematic principles and storytelling techniques
- Knowledge of Adobe Bridge for media management is a plus
- Familiarity with graphic design principles is advantageous
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field is preferred

Pay: $18.00 - $23.35 per hour
