The Video Editor mixes and masters audio. Edits video footage to desired length and format, creates motion graphics, and completes color corrections. Being a Video Editor archives and stores all files, footage, graphics, and audio. Encodes final videos to desired size and format. In addition, Video Editor proficient using Adobe Creative suite and production software including After Effects and Final Cut and other editing software. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Video Editor gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Only Players has a new 30 minute studio show with Doug Kezirian that is produced on weekdays during the evening and night PT. This is a straightforward project for an editor who knows how to do some color correcting and knows how to audio edit and sync. We need our video editor to work quickly and deliver by morning ET.
More about the show:
- The show will consist of multiple self-contained segments. They will be lined up with pre-produced intros and outros and will be edited individually also.
- Included will be 3-4 camera angles shot on iPhones
- Pre-produced lower thirds and full screen images will be provided and need to be added on the timeline.
- The show will be available via Riverside so the editor can work quickly after the segments are produced.
