POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Armed Services YMCA, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening the military community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Program Coordinator’s focus is on managing all aspects of the Volunteer Program. This position also helps manage the daily activities involved in conducting programs and services for military members and their families. Assists with evaluating the need for new programs or services; helps develop and implement new programs and services; coordinates ASYMCA events/services with installation leadership. Works closely with ASYMCA staff, military personnel and their families and local community partners.
