Overview:

We're seeking a skilled Fabrication Laborer with an expertise in sewing to join our team at our insulated blanket shop.

Key Responsibilities:

Sewing Specialist:

• Your primary responsibility will be sewing in our blanket shop. You'll be tasked with assembling insulated blankets according to established patterns and specifications. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure the quality and integrity of our products.

Understanding Patterns:

• You'll need to learn and have a thorough understanding of how our blanket patterns are put together. This includes learning how to recognize different types of markings, understanding insulation placement, and ensuring proper alignment of materials.

Assisting in Other Fabrication Shops:

• During slow periods, you may be called upon to assist in other fabrication shops within our facility. This could involve a variety a tasks, providing you with opportunities to broaden your skill set and contribute to different aspects of our production process.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in sewing preferred but not required. Ability to interpret and follow technical instructions and blueprints. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities. The ability to sit for extended periods of time.
