Wafer Fabrication Operator manufactures wafers under direct supervision. Performs the basic processes of production, such as: baking, aligning, inspecting, etching, and cleaning the wafers. Being a Wafer Fabrication Operator ensures the quality of final product and provides reports to management. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Wafer Fabrication Operator typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Wafer Fabrication Operator possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Job Description
Assembly and fabrication layout of various aluminum window wall systems which include curtain wall and store front.
Helping with loading and unloading of finished and unfinished materials for delivery.
Knowledge of commercial door hardware and glass and glazing a plus.
Job Requirements/Expectations:
- Ability to follow instructions, direction, and procedures.
- Ability to read Shop and Fabrication prints.
- Ability to QC product using Shop and Fabrication prints.
- Ability to assume multiple tasks as required.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Familiarity with operation of basic shop tools:
- Miter saw, screw guns, skill saw and hand drills.
- Ability to perform cutting, drilling, riveting and assembling/fastening of extrusions and panel systems.
- Drilling and notching of various aluminum components.
- Must be able to work in “Team Environment”.
- Reliable transportation.
- Reliable, to be able to show up on time every day.
- Work overtime when required.
- 30-day probational period.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs on a regular basis
