About The Job

The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for light maintenance and janitorial tasks throughout a manufacturing facility. The role is responsible for minor repairs and preventive maintenance as well as working with vendors for major maintenance projects.

Skill Requirements

· 3 to 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing operation.

· Work in a safe, efficient, and organized manner.

· Construction skills such as carpentry, painting, masonry, and plumbing.

· Critical thinking and problem-solving skills for solving maintenance issues.

· Administrative skills for ordering supplies, handling records, and scheduling maintenance.

· Physical strength and dexterity to lift, move and handle equipment.

· Strong and positive verbal and written communication for discussing maintenance issues.

· Organizational and time management skills.

· Computer skills, including MS Office products (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word)

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· At least two years of manufacturing experience required.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to lift to 40 pounds at times.

· Dexterity to operate handheld power tools.

· Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and kneel.

· Ability to work in hot and cold conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
