Warranty Coordinator jobs in Virginia

he Dragas Companies, a well-established residential home builder and real estate developer in the Hampton Roads area is seeking the talents of a Professional Administrator to work in our homeowner warranty department. If you have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task while providing excellent customer service, we want to hear from you.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Promptly respond to homeowner requests within 24 hours
• Ascertain warranty concerns and request additional information when required.
• Research homeowner history and all documents required to make the best decision for the homeowner and Dragas Companies
• Understand and enforce the Quality Builders Warranty (QBW) standards.
• Describe issues and assist trade partners with information to properly correct deficiencies.
• Utilize company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to create work/purchase orders and distribute to the contractors.
• Coordinate scheduling of warranty services with homeowners, warranty technicians, and contractors.
• Process invoices and ensure contractor receives prompt payment.
• Track and adjust all homeowner orientations and quality inspection schedules.
• Manage punch-out and quality inspection schedule.
• Manage and order punch-out supplies and maintain inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills.
• Customer service experience
• Ability to resolve challenging customer concerns to ensure customers are satisfied with products, services, and features.
• Construction and maintenance knowledge a plus
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Office
• Basic knowledge of Adobe

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to stand for intermitted periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
