The Lewiston-Auburn Clean Water Authority (LACWA) is seeking a skilled, motivated and trustworthy worker to serve as a Treatment Plant Operator. This position performs general plant operation, process monitoring as needed to maintain effective wastewater treatment, and conducts routine sampling and laboratory testing. LACWA utilizes an activated sludge biological treatment process.
Located on Lincoln Street in Lewiston, LACWA is one of the largest clean water plants in the state. Our mission is to protect public health and the environment by treating the residential, commercial, and industrial wastewaters of our communities and returning clean water to the Androscoggin River.
