Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Web Designer in Carlisle, Iowa. This role operates within the telecom industry, requiring a keen eye for design and a strong understanding of various web programming languages. You will be responsible for the design and development of company web pages, including visual aesthetics and usability.
Responsibilities- Develop and design new web pages and update existing ones using WordPress without the use of page builders
- Enhance the visual design and layout of web pages using CSS
- Create the structure and content of web pages using HTML
- Implement dynamic behavior, data processing, and database interactions using PHP
- Utilize HTML5 and front-end frameworks to improve functionality and user experience
- Conduct regular testing of web pages to ensure optimal performance and user experience
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand specific design requirements
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in web design and usability
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web design and functionality.
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in web design
- Proficiency in HTML and HTML5 is required
- Experience with WordPress and WordPress Development is necessary
- Knowledge and experience in PHP Development is a must
- Must be skilled in CSS and CSS - Cascade Styling Sheets
- Familiarity with Front-End Frameworks is a requirement
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proven understanding of graphic design fundamentals
- Demonstrated ability to take a project from concept to launch
- Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong understanding of content management systems
- Willingness to keep up with the latest industry trends and technologies.
