Web Software Developer designs and develops software solutions for websites and mobile applications that engage users and meet business requirements. Supports web administrators and designers through the full development lifecycle and contributes to the development of new site features. Being a Web Software Developer develops, implements, and debugs software code. Designs and develops the web infrastructure including back-end database development and the construction of SQL queries via CGI scripting. Additionally, Web Software Developer requires knowledge of web technologies and tools such as CSS, JavaScript, HTML, PERL, PHP, Active Server Pages, SQL, and C++. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. The Web Software Developer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Red Canyon Software is looking for a mid-level software engineer to support the New Glenn rocket! You'll work with the team on web development with automatic schematics (StarWires), in addition to supporting the development of a new tool to add enhancement to Zuken formboards.
This is a remote opportunity through 12/31/2024 with extension possible.
Responsibilities/Required- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Python coding
- JavaScript, React, data processing
- Wire harness experience
- C# or Blazor
- Automation of Zuken or other CAD 2D drawing software (nice to have)
- Interfacing w/engineers processing wire data to turn into schematics.
- Largely independent, some team work, successful written applications
