Welder joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques. Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process. Being a Welder inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness. Familiar with and complies with all safety requirements and protocols for working in a hazardous environment. Additionally, Welder may prepare the materials and set up for a welding device or robot. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Welder works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in the industrial valve repair industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing welding tasks safely and efficiently, ensuring all work meets quality standards and specifications.
Responsibilities:
Perform various welding tasks including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Weld parts in accordance with job specifications and blueprints.
Inspect and test welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed.
Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of welding experience, preferably in an industrial setting.
Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.

Working Hours:
Full-Time Position: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with frequent overtime and weekends as needed to meet customer deliveries. Schedule changes may also be required.
