Wellness Program Consultant assists an organization in designing wellness programs that promote healthy employee behaviors. Helps develop and implement wellness initiatives that educate and encourage employees on achieving personal health goals. Being a Wellness Program Consultant analyzes the effectiveness and utilization of wellness programs and recommends changes to improve outcomes and employee satisfaction. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty or in a related area. Additionally, Wellness Program Consultant typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Purpose: Assess and reassess each member’s health and create a plan of care for the members attending the clubhouse with RN Wellness Consultant's help. Keep member records according to 910 KAR 1: 160. Supervise nurse aide and volunteers concerning knowledge of, and medications and treatments, for members. Maintain emergency supplies and procedures and to train nurse aide and volunteers accordingly. Help everyone, including self, to best possible health.
Qualifications for Wellness Consultant: Currently licensed and has a minimum of three years experience working with the elderly. Good communication and people skills required. Must show compassion and servant leadership. Must have and maintain a professional demeanor.
