Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Wood Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in woodworking and finishing techniques to produce high-quality wood picture frames, particularly Koa, Mango, and other local woods
Responsibilities:
- Apply stains, varnishes, waxes, and other finishes to wood surfaces
- Sand and prepare wood surfaces for finishing
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Repair any imperfections or damages on wood surfaces
- Operate woodworking tools and equipment safely
- Follow complicated instructions to complete projects accurately
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Experience in working with local hardwood varieties, mitres, and picture frames
- A highly discerning eye for minute details
- Ability to build, assemble, and finish wood products
