A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WOOD FINISHER

In this finishing position, you play a vital role in our manufacturing company. Every day you put your expert skills to use by completing important tasks, including wood finishing, color matching, and surface sanding. High-quality workmanship is your top priority, and it shows in your work. You pay meticulous attention, no matter the task, and our clients can always trust you to do a great job. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A WOOD FINISHER

• 18 years old
• 5 years of experience with wood finishing and color matching
• Understanding of conversion varnish and pre-catalyzed lacquer finishes
• Knowledge about air-assisted airless paint and HVLP (high volume low pressure) paint equipment
• Knowledge about wood surface preparation and wood staining
• Ability to wear a respirator
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid state driver's license

Woodworking and painting experience would be a plus! Can you keep your finishing equipment clean and maintained? Do you take pride in the quality of your work? WORK SCHEDULE FOR A WOOD FINISHER

This woodworking position works 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday with opportunities for overtime! You'll be working the 1st shift from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
