Workers Compensation Administrator jobs in Virginia

We are a small AV rated law firm seeking a full-time Workers' Compensation Paralegal to assist attorneys with commonly-used practices and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Correspondence
• Pleadings
• Discovery and Responses
• Deposition Summaries
• Medical summaries
• Settlement documents
• Summons and subpoenas
• Workers comp settlement packages
• Scheduling (court reporters, depositions, motions, mediation, client conferences, expert witnesses, etc.)
• Client intake analysis for attorney review
• Maintain attorney calendars and schedules
• Work with clients and/or adjusters over the phone or in person to answer questions and inquiries
• Maintain client confidentiality
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Work Experience

• Microsoft Office proficiency including Excel and PowerPoint
• Prior Legal Experience preferred
• Medical background helpful
• Paralegal Certificate preferred, but not required
